Fasting Weight Loss: Can the Effects last for long?

Fasting Weight Loss: Can the Effects last for long?

With obesity becoming the main issue in the modern world, fasting weight loss becomes the easiest resolution for many to lose weight. Young women tend to fast to maintain certain body structure and shape, in order to look attractive or for the need of their profession. Models that walk the ramp or ones aspiring to be a model tend to opt for the method of fasting for an easy weight loss process. However, the common question that most people ask is if the weight loss is long term in the process of fasting. The answer to this question is a “NO” but it comes with certain conditions that might turn it into a nice “yes”.

The common myth that is related to fasting weight loss is that it helps in maintaining your body balance and metabolic rate and helps you in weight reduction. Fasting weight loss surely helps you in refreshing your body and helps in metabolism as well. You are also going to find weight reduction as well through this process. However, this process works fine for short intervals. Occasionally, if you opt for fasting weight loss, you will notice that it burns the excess fat of your body and maintains the metabolic rate of your body. However, fasting weight loss is not the correct solution for issues like obesity and eating disorders.

You will find short-term benefits of fasting weight loss, however, long term fasting can lead to disastrous effects to your body, depriving it of all the essential nutrients and vitamins that are necessary for your body. The effects of fasting weight loss are not at all long term and after a certain amount of weight loss, you are not going to find any significant change in your body weight. This process is not effective for a long-term weight loss regime and neither does it help you in maintaining your body weight. You will find that this process is going to make your body weight fluctuate and make you weak internally draining all your energy if not done right.

Long term fasting weight loss can lead to serious health issues that will effect you adversely and create problems rather than being beneficial. You can opt for fasting weight loss occasionally, but not as a long-term process, since it does not have any benefits or advantages in maintaining your weight and body structure. Regular fasting weight loss leads to eating disorders and other health complications that cripple your entire health of your body. It is thus much better to opt for a regulated diet and proper exercise regime to keep your body weight under control and to stay healthy and fit.

A Fasting Weight Loss Plan!

Fasting weight loss plan

Fasting weight loss plan

Here is a simple plan based on the idea of fasting weight loss. This is a detoxification diet and you should only try this fasting weight loss diet plan for no more than 5 to 6 days.

For your morning, as soon as you wake up,  you can have either one cup of milk that 0% fat or 1 whole wheat toast bread slice with one or two slices of turkey max. Better yet, you can have 2 kiwis with a little honey – but don’t overdo it with the honey. I know it’s sweet and has almost no calories, however, use it wisely. Some orange juice or 2 apples can work too.

For your lunch, I would recommend a tuna salad. You can use tomatoes, some rocket or lettuce, and a little vinegar or balsamic to give it that extra taste. It is recommended that you use only half a spoon of olive oil to get the nutrients that it offers and limit its high calories. If you want to mix it up, a soup could work, with a little boiled chicken. You can also have a little steamed broccoli or other vegetable such as carrots, with a slice of toasted wheat bread or maybe some 0% fat yogurt. Fasting weight loss is not an easy task, but as you can see you can eat a little while at it to sort of cheat the process.

For your dinner, you can have an omelet only with egg whites – nothing else in there (maybe a little spinach) – again with some 0% fat yogurt. Some soup could also do the trick so that fasting weight loss goes smoother.

It is very important to note that you should drink a lot of water on a daily basis. This stands for every sort of diet you decide to follow – not only for fasting weight loss. I recommend at least eight glasses of water per day. You can get one of those 2 liter bottles and try to finish it throughout the day. It’s not that hard. Even I can drink that much water, and trust me I am not a water fan!

Furthermore, I recently learned about this new diet plan. You can find more details about it if you Click Here. I hope you try this out and then come back and tell me if it worked for you. A few of my friends that did have told me it worked wonders for them!
